Help Tim Hortons make Smiles for Inn From The Cold  

Annual Smile Cookie fundraiser starts TODAY!

September 21, 2009 – NEWMARKET, ON – Starting today there are even more smiling faces at participating Newmarket Tim Hortons locations. While supplies last, customers can purchase a special smiling chocolate chip cookie for $1.00 plus taxes and all the proceeds will be donated to Inn From The Cold.

 “Tim Hortons is thrilled to help bring smiles to the clients of Inn From The Cold through our annual Smile Cookie fundraiser,” says Dan Wall, Tim Hortons Store Owner.  “The success of the program would not be possible without the support and generosity of our customers.          On behalf of all the Newmarket Tim Hortons Owners and Staff, I would like to thank all our customers for their continued support of this meaningful cause.”

Now in its 2nd year, Tim Hortons generous customers have helped to raise more than $3,500 for charities in Newmarket.  This year, the funds raised for Inn From The Cold will be directed towards meeting the basic needs of clients, including helping to provide warm meals, bus tickets to help with transportation to the shelter or other support services, and warm winter clothing.
