Find out what we do at the Inn.

Become a volunteer and part of our team to help our less

fortunate neighbours find a warm place, a meal,

a shower, a bed and breakfast ........ Inn from the cold.    

Smile We will serve hot dogs, burgers, pop & water. 

A bunch of good folks will help you better

understand the work we do at the Inn.

Inn From the Cold is offering several exciting training opportunities in the fall of 2010:

New Volunteer BASIC Training:

Please Note! Basic training is MANDATORY before volunteers can do a shift!

Monday, October 4th @ 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Thursday, November 4th @ 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Saturday, November 6th 1:00pm to 2:30pm

(Additional dates may be offered depending upon demand)

Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Under the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service (Ontario Regulation 429/07) of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), every person who provides direct service to the public, or interacts with the public, on behalf of York Region, must receive training about how to serve customers with disabilities. This includes volunteers, students and employees of the service provider. York Region has developed an Accessible Customer Service training video to help contractors and agents train those who require Accessible Customer Service training.
